Quincy Police Department Announces Citywide Parking Enforcement Campaign

The Quincy Police Department is launching a renewed parking enforcement campaign to improve public safety, support local businesses, and ensure clear access for residents and emergency vehicles throughout the city.

Community feedback and officer observations have shown an increase in vehicles parking in clearly marked “No Parking” zones and other restricted areas.

Parking regulations exist to protect pedestrians, allow emergency services to respond quickly, and help our businesses and neighborhoods remain accessible. Consistent enforcement is necessary to keep our streets safe and open for everyone.

The campaign will emphasize enforcement in areas where parking violations create safety hazards, including no-parking zones, fire lanes, handicap-designated spaces, crosswalks, driveways, loading areas, and time-restricted spaces.

The Quincy Police Department encourages all motorists to observe posted signs and markings and to remain mindful of restricted parking areas.
