Loud music or noise that is audible more than 50 feet away from the property line is restricted during the following hours:
Prohibited between 7:00 PM and 7:00 AM.
Radios, televisions, boomboxes, phonographs, stereos, musical instruments, and similar devices. The operation of radios, televisions, boomboxes, phonographs, stereos, musical instruments, and similar devices between the hours of 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., in such a manner as to cause a notice disturbance across a residential property boundary
Loudspeakers, amplifiers, public address systems, and similar devices. The use or operation of loudspeakers, amplifiers, public address systems, and similar devices between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m., in a manner as to cause a noise disturbance across residential property boundary
Enforcement and Penalties:
The Quincy Police Department is authorized to enforce the noise ordinance actively.
Residents and businesses found in violation may receive:
- A warning for the first offense.
- Fines start at $50 for the second offense, escalating with subsequent violations.
- Serious or repeated offenses may lead to higher penalties or legal action.

Provide details such as the time of the disturbance, location, and nature of the noise to address the issue effectively.
